First produced in 2016, White Barn is harvested from a block of Wadenswil clone Pinot Noir planted on a western-facing slope in front of the Donum Home, next to our White Barn. Harvested early at high acidity with low sugar, we use a small portion of whole clusters during fermentation to add complexity and savory notes. The resulting wine is a lighter style of Pinot Noir from our Carneros Estate but with all of the depth and intensity found in our riper, full-bodied wines.
